OUR PAST
Neighborhood in Numbers and History
Area: approximately 135 acres with 477 single family houses and small businesses.
​
This area was formally known as Santa Clara County Area Cambrian 36
​
1910 - First house was built on Curtner Avenue.
1952 - City of Campbell was established by incorporating itself.
1963 - The zip code of 95008 was assigned.
2013 - The area was annexed into Campbell and named Campbell Village Neighborhood after successfully resisting an annexation into San Jose.
2017 - The Campbell Village Neighborhood Plan was adopted. The plan contains guidelines lines for homeowners that are designed to reflect the residents' vision of the neighborhood's future and intended to preserve the unique character of the neighborhood.
2018 - The Community Project Erin/Shamrock roundabout and the Erin Way Road barrier planting was completed with Campbell's 2018 beautification grant and the generosity and help of many neighbors and local businesses.
